Esso Australia Pty Ltd commissioned Shedden Uhde Australia Pty Ltd to confirm the feasibility of handling forecast raw gas and oil streams at Longford and Long Island Point Plants, through and beyond 2016. The study aimed to identify the impact of changing offshore feed rates and compositions resulting from development of new reserves such as Kipper/Tuna and Turrum fields.
Process simulation models were calibrated to plant data to develop an integrated model of the Longford processing plants and a model of the Bass Strait offshore production. Shedden Uhde worked closely with Client engineers to incorporate operating experience.
All major equipment throughout the processing and utilities systems were assessed.
