PTTPE intends to construct a 1 million tpa Ethylene Plant using ethane as feedstock. This world-scale project includes all supporting utilities, services and storage and will provide for Thailand's olefins production requirements at a time when ethylene consumption growth is expected to exceed general world economy growth. As the lightest olefinic hydrocarbon ethylene is a key feedstock for petrochemicals such as plastics, resins, fibres, solvents etc.
