In April 2003, Shedden Uhde achieved the enviable position of being registered to the International Standard ISO 9001:2000 – Quality Management Systems.
Shedden Uhde commenced operations in 1979 and in 1991, became the first engineering design company in its’ field to be registered to the International systems standard ISO 9001, It is the only company of its type, to continuously retain this.
The company uses this standard as basis for ensuring that we have competent management practices and business systems in place for provision of services and goods to world standards.
Our registration includes the following services:
The registration covers the quality management system for project delivery including engineering, procurement, construction management and project management services for projects in the resources, process and manufacturing industries.
Shedden Uhde is regularly audited by the external auditing body, SAI Global Assurance Services (formally QAS), who is registered by the International auditing body RVA.
A suite of policies and procedures is used throughout the company to ensure compliance, which are continuously audited. These are provided via an extensive Intranet to enable use both in the company offices and at project sites.
Shedden Uhde also uses these systems with its Clients and suppliers to ensure that provision of services and goods is maintained at the highest level. A comprehensive technical library is also maintained and the company retains memberships with international companies to provide this.
