Shedden Uhde - Sasol Inhassoro Liquids

Project: Sasol Central Processing Facility
Expansion for Inhassoro Liquids

Mozambique, Africa

Sasol’s Temane Central Processing Facility is located near Vilanculos in Mozambique. Sasol intend to produce additional condensate reserves from the Inhassoro field to the onshore Central Processing Facility. The facilities are to be expanded to be able to process an additional 4000 bbls/day of stabilised condensate.

Shedden Uhde undertook a study to identify the quantity of LPG available for recovery from gas and condensate, determine the optimum tie-in for the Inhassoro condensate and select an economic process scheme for condensate processing including flare minimisation.

The basic engineering package was produced by a multi-disciplined team based in Melbourne (process) and South Africa. The facility expansion design included new inlet facilities, an additional condensate stabilisation train, flash gas recompression and new condensate storage and load out facilities.
